This week is full of activity. Friday marks the day your evolution project is due - remember two forms are required
1) ORAL PRESENTATION IN FRONT OF CLASS
2) WRITTEN PRESENTATION
This week we will continue to address content standards for Evolution. Moving from natural selection and into genetic drift, population genetics , mutations and speciation.
HOMEWORK
Due Friday: Chapter 15 notes

Me and Taylor are having trouble with our Evolution project... I wnt around asking the people in first period and everyone hasnt even started yet... and this is a day before the project is due! I really want to get a good grade on this project and in your class can you PLEASE extend the project to monday! Im begging you on my hands and knees! Please!!!!!!!!!!

although i'm moved by your plea, i feel that two weeks time is sufficient for this type of project. relax and do the best you can.

First of all it wasnt 2 weeks... it was 13 days =). most likley half of the class isnt going to show up or even do the project... So you should have something planned incase if the presentations are short or dont go so well.
And all of the Extra homework that was assigned by other teachers should be taken into account. (just saying)

We agree with Daniel about extending the project. We are also having trouble with getting it done. Although we were givin two weeks, it felt like it wasnt enough. As much as we're trying to get it done, we will not be able to finish it by tomorrow.

Hi Ms. Trusso, this is Henry, from your 6th period class...I was also hoping to have the project deadline to be extended because I feel alot of us don't have much time to work on it because of the daily homework we get from other classes..I was hoping another extra week of working on the project would help us students alot by giving us more time to work on our wonderful presentations. Thanks! :]

I think it would have been more helpful if we had more time in class to work on our evolution projects. Plus, it is a lot to be gotten done in two weeks, and although that may sound like a reasonable amount of time, many of us had other homework assignments in the way. Please at least consider extending the due date until Monday, the 6th. Many of our projects are nowhere near completion and will be in poor quality if we have to hand them in and present them tomorrow.
