May 18th

Monday the 18th we will be dissecting brains with scientists from UCSF - please plan on arriving to class on time, with questions and your enthusiastic self. This week we will be discussing your clone papers and having a classroom debate on clones, stem cells and genetic engineering.

This will prep us well for our final end of the year lab - pGLO. We will insert a glowing gene from jellyfish into a normal bacteria (assuming that there is anything normal about bacteria)
